Thank you for participating in the 2nd Annual Joshua 1:9 Freedom 5K!  More than 150 runners, walkers and cheerleaders came out to raise awareness for Persecuted Christians in the Middle East and Africa.

Our run would not have been possible without you, our sponsors, and the support of many local churches and pastors – who not only prayed for our success, but came out to participate or virtually support. We are so appreciative for your prayers, time, and support.

Congratulations to all participants – runners and walkers!

A special thank you to the following Pastors and congregations for going above and beyond for Joshuacord and the Persecuted Church:

Thank you to Jamie at our FAVORITE radio station – SpiritFM for the wonderful interviews shared on air before the run – and his passion to help the persecuted church.  Thank you to all of the volunteers who supported the event in many ways!  Thanks to the amazingly talented DJ Jake De La Cruz for bringing the entertainment!  Thank you to the Zach Hardison Band  for sharing their music with us and providing their new EP for two raffle items.  And thank you to TNT Smoothies & Supplements for preparing pre and post race smoothies for participants to keep their energy up!

Thanks to Rick Maupin Photography for taking 600+ race day photos! Please log in to his site here and use the password: FreedomRun2014

Save the date for next year’s run which will be held the weekend of International Day of Prayer on November 7, 2015!

Joshuacord is a family-founded nonprofit run solely by volunteers. This is a labor of love for our brothers and sisters who do not have the freedoms we cherish. If you feel a passion for the cause and would like to volunteer with Joshuacord, have us speak at your church/organization, or learn more about becoming a sponsor for next year’s race, please email us.

We have much to be thankful for especially during this time of year – please remember to pray for the Persecuted Church daily.

Sincerely,

The Joshuacord Team
